Where do you offer your services?

Enliten Therapy is available to residents of Ontario through Telehealth (either by phone or video call) or in-person in our Toronto office.

What are your credentials?

Tara is a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Psychotherapist: RN, CPMHN(C), who has worked with patients struggling with substance misuse since 2008. She has completed extensive training in psychotherapeutic modalities including DBT, CBT, MI, and EFT. She also has a Certificate in Grief Education and as a Mental Health First Aid Facilitator.

Are these sessions covered by extended medical?

Accepted Answer

Each extended care plan is different, but many do offer full or partial coverage for our sessions.

Alternatively, you may be eligible to claim some of the cost of our sessions at the end of the tax year. More information on that option can be found here.

Question 4

How should I prepare for my first session?

Accepted Answer

There's nothing you need to prepare for our first session, but it can be helpful to:

- Have a pen and paper handy for note-taking. 
- Give some thought to what you want to share. It's not uncommon for distracting nerves to come up, but preparation can help keep you on the track you want to be on.  
- Wear and / or surround yourself with things that give you comfort: a familiar scent, fidget toys, etc.
